The yearning for a fuller and more satisfying life in harmony with the people we admire and love resonates with many of us, and for this reason, we seek answers to questions that deeply affect us, such as "who am I?" and "what is the purpose of my life?"
And the Enneagram is a way to find answers.
The Enneagram is a legacy whose origin we don't know, but it appears in inscriptions in temples of Ancient Egypt.
In the 20th century, it was brought to the West and began to be used as a path to self-knowledge and human development.
How is the Enneagram used?
Based on the Enneagram, we study 9 personality types or 9 patterns of human expression in the world, and we have the opportunity to get to know ourselves and the people we live with better. We can get in touch with our soul's longing and fulfill it in our lives.
When our personality is not understood and worked on, our expressions occur through what are known as personality vices.
When we identify the characteristics, understand the mechanics, feel and master our automatic and unconscious expressions, we can choose to be more loving and compassionate.
We always have the choice of who we want to be. We can choose to know ourselves in order to use the energy we generate so that our expression in the world becomes one of love, truth, spontaneity, acceptance, and wisdom.
